About Me

My name is Karly Krizmanich. I graduated from Purdue in May 2011 with a B.A. in Communication, with a focus on video production, and minored in Film.
I interned with WFYI Indianapolis in the Fall of 2011 and did what most interns do, DVD duplication, timecoded window burns, and transcribing. But, I also was able to be the editor for WFYI's new Volunteer video and worked with Indiana INTERNnet editing videos for them.
When my internship was over, I was asked to continue working with WFYI as a freelancer in January 2012. Through WFYI, I continued to edit videos for Indiana INTERNnet and then became the writer/producer and editor for their videos. I aslo pieced together the 2012 Indiana Supreme Court Oral Arguments for Broadcast.
I also just finished creating training videos for Carmel Clay Transportation Department in May 2012. I shot, wrote, and edited two 25 minute videos and a 2 minute video for them to use as training tools.
Currently, I am doing odd and end jobs for WFYI (still duplicating DVD's) and am helping with the growing need to facilitate producers with digital footage (Many producers at WFYI are used to tapes with timecodes, so I have been working to create a system to easily transfer digital footage to timecoded DVD's for their use).
